Powder Coat
The AGLC’s mullions are extruded aluminium, which work to serve two functions: to support the glass louvre blades, and to protect the operational mechanism which is hidden inside the mullion itself. Having the mechanism hidden ensures user safety and protects the mechanism from weather elements, while providing a clean and appealing finish. Aluminium finishing options are available we offer anodizing and powder coat aluminium. AAMA or AAMA2604
Hybrid Timber
AGLC’s hybrid Accoya timber mullion echoes our philosophy of tailoring our louvre system to suite your project style and purpose. Timber resonates with the sensors allowing for a more fluid transition from inside space to outside space with the mullions natural wood clade finish. AGLC will wrap a traditional aluminium mullion in Accoya pine, this allows the mullion the strength of aluminium and the finish of beautiful natural timber. The added benefits of engineered Accoya timber are it’s strength and longevity.
The Hybrid timber mullion has TWO finish options: stains (warranty approx. 3 years) or liquid paint (warranty approx. 10 years using Interpol paint).
This mullion option is not available for curtainwall projects
